One of my mentors told me to make plans to fail daily; this will help prepare me for success. I was advised to call companies that I know will say no to what I’m selling every day. I may not get results from ten calls, but I’m guaranteed to get results from 100 calls. But the only way to know if that will happen is to make those 100 calls. Also, I should look back on each day to determine what went wrong, write it down, and then correct it.
He said that someday I will begin to enjoy this process. I can’t wait until this day comes because I am so not looking forward to the rejections needed to reach my goals.
Thus, I encourage you to make plans to fail so you can get closer to your goal a little faster.
