Marcie Hill, founder and President of The Write Design Company, is an entrepreneur, published journalist and blogger.

She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Northern Illinois University and her Masters degree from National Louis University.  She worked as a Human Resources professional for 12 years in the health care, nonprofit, manufacturing and technology industries.

Her writing life began in 2002 with her monthly inspirational newsletter, Shorty In Da House.  Started as a means to share great news about an event in her life, the newsletter grew to inform over 500 national readers about activities and resources for young people and seniors; things going on in the community; and employment opportunities.  She wrote, edited, and published it for eight years.
